Can WIC (Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children) help you and your family?

Over 400,000 New Yorkers are getting healthy food and connecting to resources, nutritionists, breastfeeding support and more with WIC, but nearly twice as many can, including many 2-4 year old pre-readers! A 3-minute chat with NYS WIC’s new virtual chat assistant, Wanda, is all it takes for families to learn if they qualify. If deemed eligible, families receive a warm automatic referral to their local WIC office.
